Can Tracy track people?

Tracy is designed to avoid unwanted tracking. If an unknown Tracy of another person is seen moving with you over time, you will receive a notification if you have an iPhone, if you have an Android smartphone Tracy will emit a sound at constant intervals to let you know that a device not directly controlled by you is with you. Should you find an object tracking device that is not yours inside one of your items, go to the nearest police station to hand it in and report the incident. Only the police are able to trace the actual owner of the device.

Are my personal and location data safe with Tracy?

All communication in the 'Where's' system is anonymous and encrypted, no information is stored on Tracy. Your personal information is safe as Tracy does not store either your data or location history. All data is subject to the privacy agreement signed between Apple and the user in the context of using the iOS operating system.
